Azerbaijani FM receives newly-appointed ambassador of Belgium

Azerbaijani FM receives newly-appointed ambassador of Belgium

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has today received Bert Schoofs, newly-appointed ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Azerbaijan.

Mammadyarov congratulated Schoofs on his appointment and wished him success in his future endeavors.

The ambassador presented the copy of his credentials to the minister.

They expressed satisfaction with the development of bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Belgium, exchanged views on development of relations between Azerbaijan and the European Union.

They also discussed other issues of mutual interest.
