Italian police arrest human trafficking gang headed by alleged radical Islamist
Italian police arrested on Friday a gang of people engaged in human trafficking and headed by a Tunisian national suspected of having links to radical Islam, media reported.
According to The Local newspaper, eight people have been arrested. The investigation revealed that the group members had obtained false contracts from local textile firms, which enabled illegal migrants from North Africa to get work permits.

The gang`s leader was said by the police to have supported the November Paris attacks through social media, according to the media outlet.

The series of terrorist attacks carried out across the French capital on November 13 claimed 130 lives and injured over 350 people.
