Azerbaijani, Russian and Iranian presidents to hold summit in Baku today
Baku will host a trilateral summit of Azerbaijani, Russian and Iranian presidents on Monday.
Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani arrived in Azerbaijan on Aug.7, APA reports.

Russian President Vladimir Putin is expected to visit Azerbaijan today.

At the meeting, the discussions will be mainly focused on the construction of “North-South” railway line. Moreover, the presidents will mull the situation in Syria, Afghanistan, the issues of fight against terrorism and drug trafficking, and deepening of the economic cooperation.

The meeting is expected to result in the signing of a joint declaration.
