It is important to join efforts in the fight against terrorism - Lavrov
`The final declaration points out the importance to join efforts in the fight against terrorism. It is decided to develop a trilateral mechanism.`
`This format is also important to clarify the status of the Caspian Sea`, said Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov on Monday after talks between the Russian, Azerbaijani and Iranian presidents in Baku.

Talking about the legal status of the Caspian Sea, he noted that at the meeting of foreign ministers in Astana it was decided to finalize the convention on the legal status of the Caspian Sea: “Regarding this issue the summit will be held in Kazakhstan. Today at the meeting, the sides have decided to continue efforts in this direction.”
