Temperature to rise up to 43 C in Azerbaijan, ministry warns
The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources has issued a warning against anticipated hot weather condition in Azerbaijan.
The National Hydrometeorology Department of told APA that the abnormal hot weather condition in Baku and Absheron peninsula will last until August 15, the maximum temperature will be 35-39 C, and 41 C in some days.

In Azerbaijan’s districts, the maximum temperature will be 35-40 until Aug.15. The temperature is forecasted to be 43 C in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and some areas of the Central Lowland regions, and 29-34 C in mountainous regions.

According to the medical-meteorological assessment, the abnormal heat and discomfort condition forecasted for the next 3 days will be unfavorable for weather">weather-sensitive people. It is not advisable to stay for a long time in the open air.
