Attorney Javad Javadli said in a statement to APA they will file an appeal after the court verdict on his pretrial detention.
Natiq Jafarli is charged with illegal business (Article 192) and abusing official powers (Article 308).
On 12 August Jafarli was called to the Investigation Department for Grave Crimes of the Prosecutor General’s Office. Then he was taken to Nasimi district court which sentenced him to four months’ pretrial detention.
