Ilham Aliyev congratulates Gabon’s president

Azerbaijan’s President Ilham Aliyev sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Republic of Gabon Ali Bongo Ondimba on the occasion of the national holiday of Gabon.

“On behalf of the people of Azerbaijan and on my own behalf, I extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and your people on the national holiday of the Republic of Gabon – Independence Day,” said President Aliyev in his letter.

“I hope that the relations between Azerbaijan and Gabon will further develop in the spirit of friendship and cooperation,” noted the president.

“On this joyful day, I wish you good health, every success in your activities, and the friendly people of Gabon peace and prosperity,” he added.
