“Azerbaijan is developing at a high pace, the standard of living of the population is increasing,” Panahov said. “Previous elections in the country were held in line with the highest standards and we have to hold the upcoming referendum at the same level.”
He added that some people in the world use the election to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries.
“We must not let this happen, we have to in time eliminate the smallest shortcomings,” the CEC chairman said. “Informing precinct election commissions will eliminate the shortcomings.”
Elections in Azerbaijan may serve as an example for the whole world, Panahov added.
