In connection with the World Chess Olympiad to take place in Baku, foreign nationals and stateless persons will be able to obtain visas at Azerbaijani airports tomorrow, based on the presidential order dated 18 April 2016.
Visas will be issued on the basis of an official invitation letter from the Operational Committee of the Baku Chess Olympiad or a document confirming accreditation done in line with the rules of the Fédération Internationale des Échecs (FIDE). With either of these documents, foreigners and stateless persons can request their visa at Azerbaijani international airports from August 20 to September 20.
