The attack in the Şavşat district of the Black Sea province of Artvin targeted the convoy of Turkey’s opposition CHP leader Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, Turkish Interior Minister Afkan Ala said in an interview to NTV channel.
The minister said that a group of PKK terrorists opened fire the convoy, wounding three soldiers, one of whom is in critical condition. The minister vowed to capture the perpetrators.
