EU may give mandate in mid-October to begin talks with Azerbaijan
The European Union may issue a mandate in mid-October to begin talks with Azerbaijan on a strategic partnership agreement, Deputy FM Mahmud Mammadguliyev said in a statement.
He noted that the process in this direction is underway within the EU.

According to Mammadguliyev, Baku will host a meeting of the EU subcommittees on Azerbaijan.

“We have a talk with them and we will begin to work. If I’m not mistaken, the meeting of the first committee will take place in September and the last one in December. All the meetings will be held in Baku. The dates are almost certain,” he said.
