Italian embassy in Baku to open book of condolences in honor of quake victims

Italian embassy in Baku to open book of condolences in honor of quake victims

The Embassy of Italy in Baku will open a Book of Condolences to honor the victims of the Aug.24 earthquake.

The book will be open on Tuesday 30th August from 11.00am to 13.00pm and on Wednesday 31st August from 10.00am to 13.00pm, the embassy told on Aug.26.

At least 267 people were killed after a 6-magnitude earthquake struck central Italy on Aug.24. The Italian Civil Protection Department said the hardest-hit were Lazio town of Amatrice and nearby Accumoli.

Two-day mourning was declared in Italy for earthquake victims.
