Turkey confirms new envoy’s appointment to Azerbaijan

Turkey confirms new envoy’s appointment to Azerbaijan

Turkey has officially confirmed the appointment of a new ambassador to Azerbaijan, The Official Gazette reported on Aug. 26.

Erkan Ozoral is the country’s new envoy to Azerbaijan, according to the report.

Earlier, Ozoral served as Deputy Director General at Turkish Foreign Ministry. In 2006, he was an adviser to the ambassador at the Turkish embassy in Baku.

Former Turkish Ambassador to Azerbaijan Ismail Alper Coskun will hold a position at Turkey’s Foreign Ministry.
