Bridge over Bosphorus to link Azerbaijan with Europe
The new third bridge named `Yavuz Sultan Selim` over the Bosphorus Strait will connect Azerbaijan with Europe, Turkish former Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said during the bridge’s opening ceremony, AzVision.az reports citing the Turkish Media.
Davutoglu said that this bridge over the Bosphorus Strait is an important project for the whole world.

The opening ceremony of third bridge named `Yavuz Sultan Selim` over the Bosphorus Strait is being held in Turkey today, on Aug. 26.

The construction of the bridge named `Yavuz Sultan Selim` began in May 2013 and ended March 7, 2016.

The bridge is 1.85 kilometers long and 59 meters wide. The bridge was built at an altitude of 320 meters above the Bosphorus.

The fee for using the bridge will amount to $3. The project cost is estimated at $3 billion.
