Azerbaijan starts to produce sporting guns

Azerbaijan

Samples of the guns have today been displayed at an exhibition at the Azerbaijani National Academy of Sciences, AzVision.az reports.

One of the Turaj sporting guns is double-barreled, and the other semiautomatic, Arab Yusifov, a ministry official, told APA. Both shotguns are designed to fire from 12-caliber cartridges. The semiautomatic one is 3 kg in weight, and the other 3.5 kg.

The shotguns will soon be put on sale.

Along with sporting guns, the ministry is also manufacturing various ammunition
