Speaking about the necessity of finding a peaceful solution to the Armenia-Azerbaijan Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, Pashazade noted that the 20-year-old conflict is an obstacle to the development of the Caucasus. He praised Russian President Vladimir Putin’s efforts to achieve peace.
Pashazade insisted that extremists, takfiris, ISIL and other radical groups, as well as those who cause mischief within society, who seek to eradicate traditions developed over centuries, who invite to rise against government, and who poison youth’s mind with pseudo-Islamic ideas have nothing to do with Islam.
