Azerbaijan, Bahrain to cooperate in defense sphere

An Azerbaijani delegation led by the country’s Defense Minister Colonel General Zakir Hasanov left for the Kingdom of Bahrain for a visit on Dec.25, Azerbaijani Defense Ministry told.

During the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation will hold meetings with the Supreme Commander of the Defence Forces, the King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the command of the Air Force and Navy of Bahrain.

Moreover, it is planned to visit the military medical institutions and sign a bilateral cooperation plan.

The visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Bahrain will end on Dec.27.
