The president was told that the reconstruction of the highway began this May and ended in August. The third technical degree road is 24.8 kilometers long. It has two lanes, each 3.75 meters in width.
As many as 920 safety posts and 154 traffic signs were installed along the Khudat-Yalama-Zukhuloba road, which links 18 residential areas.
The president cut the ribbon symbolizing the opening of the highway.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has today attended the opening of Yalama Agropark, which was established on the basis of the Yalama State Dairy and Pedigree Cattle Breeding Agricultural Production Enterprise.
Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev informed the head of state of the work carried out in the agropark. He said that at the initial stage 20 million manats were invested in the establishment of the agropark, which occupied a total area of 523 hectares.
The President was also informed of low-interest loans given by the National Entrepreneurship Assistance Fund of the Ministry of Education to entrepreneurs in Quba-Khachmaz economic region. Minister Shahin Mustafayev said a total of 163.5 million manats had been allocated so far to nearly 2260 entrepreneurs in Quba-Khachmaz economic region.
President Ilham Aliyev viewed the agropark. The head of state launched a feed plant here.
The agropark employs 150 people. It is expected that more than 300 new jobs will be created here in the future.
After touring the agropark, the head of state had a meeting with representatives of the district`s public, and then posed for photographs with them.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has viewed conditions created at Heydar Aliyev Park in the village of Yalama as part of his visit to Khachmaz district.
The president was informed that the park occupied a total area of 1 hectare. The park also houses a Yalama village branch of the Heydar Aliyev Center. There is a bust of National Leader Heydar Aliyev in front of the Center, which occupies an area of 120 square meters.
President Aliyev laid flowers at the bust of the national leader. The president then had a conversation with representatives of the Lezgi community, and posed for photographs with them.

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of a new building of the Marriage Ceremony House as part of his visit to Khachmaz Sept. 8.
The president was informed that constructed as a community center in 2005, the building was later reconstructed into the Marriage Ceremony House.
The building occupies a total area of 448 square meters.
