Sargsyan again relies on ‘Karabakh clan’ – media
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan again relies on the “Karabakh clan”, Azvision.az reports citing the Armenian newspaper Zhoghovurd.
Sargsyan had decided to alter his team and again rely on the “Karabakh clan” before the parliamentary election scheduled to 2 April 2017, according to the newspaper.

Serzh Sargsyan and his partners (Bako Sahakyan, Barsegh Beglaryan, Zori Balayan, and others) discussed options retaining his power. Sargsyan said he would need massive support in the future. Following the meeting, he stated that the ‘people’s consent’ was necessary to form the government,” Zhoghovurd writes. “Now ‘Karabakh clan’ representatives have begun a propaganda campaign in Yerevan. ‘Sargsyan has no choice. So everyone must gather around him in 2017.’ This propaganda is soon going to turn into state-level propaganda and will be heard everywhere. Time will tell what this process is going to result in.”
