Death toll From Bangladesh packaging factory fire rises to 21
The death toll from the boiler blast and ensuing fire at a garment packaging factory in Bangladesh has risen to 21.
The fire broke out at the five-story Tempako Packaging Factory in Tongi early in the morning after a boiler exploded, the Bangladesh News website said.

Dozens suffered burns, with one person said to be in critical condition. A 12-year-old boy was severely hurt and in need of an urgent surgery, according to the website’s medical sources. An investigation has reportedly been opened into the incident after the region’s administration chief visited the site and formed an inquiry panel.
