Deputy Foreign Minister for Consular, Parliamentary and Iranian Expatriates Affairs Hassan Qashqavi has said that on the occasion of the Eid al-Adha 22 Iranians serving prison sentences in Azerbaijan will be transferred to home, Tasnim news agency reported.
Over the past years Iran and Azerbaijan on several occasions have extradited a number of prisoners which comes following the expansion of political relations between the two neighboring countries.
