Organizers of the rally in Baku receive financial resources from the foreign organizations, Siyavush Novruzov, deputy executive secretary of the ruling New Azerbaijan Party told.
He said the National Council`s rally gathered relatives of party leaders, members of the National Council.
Novruzov noted the rally organizers are trying to demonstrate to foreign organizations that there is a protest in Azerbaijan. "And for it, they receive funding", he added.
National Council has today held the rally at the stadium "Mahsul" in the Yasamal district of Baku. The rally was agreed with the executive power of the city.
The rally, which was held from 17:00 till 19:00, was attended by 2 500 representatives of various parties in the National Council, the opposition and non-governmental organizations.
No serious violations have been registered at the National Council`s rally in Baku.
