“Therefore, the Azerbaijani community needs to continue to develop upon the principles of solid national roots. That’s what is happening today,” he added.
The head of state emphasized the necessity of bringing up the youth in the spirit of patriotism, both in school and within family.
“Our policy today is based upon national interests and national values, which must be held highest by every citizen of Azerbaijan,” said President Aliyev. “We need to make sure that the future generation develops in this direction. So patriotism and adherence to national moral values must be prevalent in schools. Teachers too are meant to do a lot about this. We should remember that our talented people have contributed a great deal to the world treasure.”
