Nicaragua struck by 5.4 magnitude earthquake
A moderate earthquake measuring 5.4 on the Richter scale occurred off the coast of Nicaragua, European Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) said Thursday.
The earthquake struck Nicaragua at 23:57 local time (05:57 GMT) on Wednesday. The epicenter was situated 42 kilometers (26 miles) north-west of Managua, at a depth of 5 kilometers (3,2 miles).
