Possible explosive device investigated at New Jersey train station
A possible explosive device was found near train tracks in Elizabeth, New Jersey, local media reported Monday.
According to the ABC broadcaster, a homeless man found a pipe and wires in a white bag while rummaging through garbage. The commuter train services were suspended, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation and Union County bomb squad are investigating the package.

Other media outlets reported that the area was evacuated.

On Saturday, a total of 29 people have been injured in the explosion that hit New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood in Manhattan on Saturday night. Another device was found in the region but it had failed to detonate. Later that day, a bomb exploded near a US Marine Corps charity race in the city of Seaside Park, New Jersey, about 82 miles south of New York City. Nobody was injured in the New Jersey attack.
