`An establishment of communication at the legislative level is too normal for building relations with Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan is of great importance for the EU. EU intends to strengthen its relations with developing countries including Azerbaijan`, head of the delegation and member of the EU parliament, Sayyad Karim told reporters after the closed meeting.
`Azerbaijan and the EU can both establish and strengthen relations. Clearly, Azerbaijan tends to build close relations with the European countries. We will do our utmost to ensure the establishment of the close relations among Azerbaijan and European countries`, he also added.
Previously, Sayyad Karim, head of the delegation and member of the EU parliament held meetings with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on September 20.
