Armenians violate ceasefire with Azerbaijan nearly 60 times in a day
Over the past 24 hours, Armenia’s armed forces 58 times violated ceasefire on various parts of the contact line of Azerbaijani and Armenian troops, the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan said Dec. 30.

Armenian military, stationed in the village of Chinari of Armenia’s Berd district, opened fire on Azerbaijani armed forces’ positions in the village of Aghbulag in Tovuz district.

Armenian soldiers in the village of Vazashen of Armenia’s Ijevan district fired at Azerbaijani positions on the nameless heights of Azerbaijan’s Gazakh district.

Azerbaijani military’s positions were also fired at from positions near the villages of Goyarkh of Tartar district, the villages of Yusifjanly, Shikhlar, Marz, Sarijali, Shuraabad, Novruzlu, Javahirli, and Kangarli of Aghdam district, Kuropatkino village of Khojavand district, and the villages of Horadiz, Garakhanbeyli, Gorgan, Ashagi Seyidahmadli of Fizuli district.

Aside from that, Azerbaijani military’s positions came under fire from the positions on nameless heights in Khojavand, Fuzuli and Jabrail districts.

The opposing side was silenced with return fire.
