Azerbaijani First Lady observes Republican Children

Azerbaijan’s first lady, President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation Mehriban Aliyeva and her daughter Arzu Aliyeva attended the opening of the Republican Children’s Sanatorium of the Ministry of Healthcare in Buzovna, Baku, after reconstruction Dec. 29.

Health Minister Ogtay Shiraliyev informed the first lady about the work carried out here.

It was noted that the sanatorium was commissioned in 1986. The reconstruction work started in June, 2012.

The 6-storey building covers an area of 8,000 square meters. The sanatorium, which employs 182-strong medical staff, was supplied with modern medical equipment.
