Status-quo is unacceptable and unsustainable - Azerbaijani FM

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met with Julie Bishop, Minister for Foreign Affairs in Australia`s Federal Coalition Government on the sidelines of the 71st Session of the UN General Assembly.

Foreign Ministry stated, the sides stressed the importance of developing political dialogue between the two countries, cooperation within the UN and other international organizations.

Informing about the negotiations on the settlement of the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, Minister Elmar Mammadyarov said that the status-quo basing on occupation of Azerbaijani territories by Armenia is unacceptable and unsustainable as stated by presidents of co-chair countries of the OSCE Minsk Group.
