Henceforth, customs service is authorized to verify the vehicles, goods and other property. Until now, the protection of the state border, border control, the admission of persons crossing the border of Azerbaijan Republic, as well as the verification of vehicles, goods and other property have been implemented by the border guards checkpoints.
According to the amendment, now in the border troops checkpoints will carry out only the protection of the state border, border control and admission of persons crossing the state border of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
