Azerbaijan to open new specialized secondary school
A new secondary school specialized in the field of agriculture will be opened in Azerbaijan’s Gabala district in the first quarter of 2017, Azerbaijani Minister of Education Mikayil Jabbarov told reporters on Thursday.
Gabala has been chosen as the first pilot area in the framework of the BP-funded project titled “Creation of new specialties in the field of agriculture”, the minister noted.

“If the project proves successful, then in the future, it is planned to create new specialized secondary schools in the field of agriculture across the country,” said Jabbarov.

The minister added that the school will train students in the fields of gardening, plant-growing, etc.
