Over 200 foreign companies to join ADEX 2016 in Baku
216 companies from 34 countries and 25 official delegations from 19 countries will join the 2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition (ADEX 2016), said Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Defense Industry Yahya Musayev.
ADEX is due to take place at the Baku Expo Center on Sept. 27-30.

Azerbaijan, Belarus, Israel, China, Pakistan, Russia, Serbia, Turkey, France, and the Czech Republic will have national pavilions at the exhibition, Musayev said at a press conference in Baku Sept. 22.

The biggest pavilions in terms of number of companies will be those of Turkey (42 companies), Israel (14 companies), and Russia (14 companies), the deputy minister said, adding that companies such as CETC, Damen, MBDA, Norinco, Rokestan, Rosoboronexport and others will display pieces of military equipment.

Azerbaijan’s Defense Industry Ministry is expected to exhibit a number of local-made defense and special purpose products as well as samples of weapons and ammunition.

In general, achievements in the following categories will be put on display: equipment and weaponry for land and air forces, military aviation weaponry, air defense systems, pieces of special purpose equipment, information technologies, aerospace technologies, administrative and technical provision of armies.

For the first time, a project of service center for maintenance and technical examination of armed vehicles will be presented.
