According to Novruzov, the official document will be announced once certain details become clear.
“It needs careful planning. There are graves of martyrs as well as those of renowned persons, such as writers and poets. Then comes the issue of allocation of places and which body to handover of the administration to. Shall we hand it over to municipalities or create a new body? These questions are about to be solved and will be announced once they are solved,” he said.
The committee chairman added that there will be standard graves at the cheapest price, and locations of cemeteries will be chosen at least 300 meters away from water basins for fear of the corpses coming into contact with water after mixing with soil, which is inadmissible.
“There are some diseased people whose body must not be buried but cremated in order to prevent the infection from spreading through soil. So the draft resolution will also include the issue of cremating bodies of some people with certain threatening diseases,” he said.
