Passengers reported a "strong military presence" at Terminal B of the LaGuardia Airport on Thursday night. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey police confirmed to WCBS that they were investigating an "unattended" vehicle.

The New York Daily News said citing passenger reports, people were told to go to the upper level of Terminal B at around 11:15 local time on Thursday (03:00 GMT on Friday). Some passengers claimed that they were told there was an SUV abandoned outside the terminal, the newspaper said.
