Australian observers monitoring Azerbaijan`s referendum
The election observation mission of the Australian Parliament started monitoring the referendum in Azerbaijan Sept. 26.
The head of the delegation and Australian MPs observed the voting process in the polling stations #29 and #30 of the eighth constituency in Binagadi district of Baku.

The voting in referendum on making amendments to Azerbaijan’s constitution kicked off at 08:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours) Sept.26.

The voting will wrap up at 19:00 (UTC/GMT + 4 hours).

As many as 117 international observers have been accredited in Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) to observe the referendum. They are members, MPs from around 35 countries, as well as various international organizations, including the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE). The total number of the observers is around 53,000.
