The PACE mission arrived in Baku to observe the elections at the invitation of the Azerbaijani government.
The mission will hold a press conference in Baku Sept. 27 on the initial results of its observation.
The referendum to amending Azerbaijan’s Constitution kicked off at 08:00 am local time and will wrap up at 7:00 pm.
The number of voters in Azerbaijan stands at 5,267,111 people.

The PACE assessment mission will announce the final report on Azerbaijan’s constitutional referendum in the next two months, the mission head, Aleksandr Nikoloski, told reporters in Baku Sept. 26.
