Russian missile ship to visit Baku port

Russian missile ship to visit Baku port

“Uglich” small missile ship is scheduled to visit Azerbaijan’s port of Baku on Sept. 27 under the command of Rear-Admiral Sergey Pinchuk, Commander of the Caspian flotilla of the Russian Federation, Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry reported.

The ship crew will visit the grave of Azerbaijan’s national leader Heydar Aliyev in the Alley of Honor and the Alley of Martyrs.

The Russian delegation will meet with the Command of the Azerbaijani Naval Forces, visit High Military School named after Heydar Aliyev as well as the 2nd International Defense Exhibition ADEX-2016 in Baku.

The crew will also visit cultural and historical monuments in Baku and have a friendly football match.

The visit will end on Sept. 30.
