18 int’l organizations observing referendum in Azerbaijan
Some 117 observers from 18 international organizations are monitoring the constitutional referendum in Azerbaijan, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of the Azerbaijan Central Election Commission (CEC), told reporters.
The observers represent 18 countries, according to Panahov.

He added that the observers represent the PACE, IPA CIS, TURKPA, parliaments of the UK, France, Austria, Austria as well as central election commission of a number of countries.

Panahov cast his vote at the polling station #31 of Binagadi election constituency # 10.

The referendum to make amendments to Azerbaijan’s Constitution kicked off at 08:00 am local time and will wrap up at 7:00 pm.

The number of voters in Azerbaijan stands at 5,267,111 people.
