Azerbaijan’s First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces Colonel-General Najmaddin Sadikov on Wednesday departed for St. Petersburg at the invitation of First Deputy Minister of Defense, Chief of the General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov.
Sadikov will attend the meeting of the Committee of Chiefs of Staff of CIS member states in St. Petersburg Sept. 29, said Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
The heads of the delegation will exchange views on cooperation in the sphere of defense.
