Azerbaijan showcases new generation of radar-evasive drones
Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Defense Industry is displaying the new general of Orbiter 3 and Orbiter 4 unmanned aerial vehicles at the ADEX 2016 – the 2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition.
The Orbiter 3 and Orbiter 4 drones stay in the air for 24 hours, unlike previous productions like Orbiter 2 and Aerostar, which stay in the air for 5 and 12 hours respectively.

The length between the tips of the Orbiter 4 drone’s wings is 5.4m. Its weight is 50kg, load capacity 12kg, and maximal speed 70km/h.

Orbiter 4 is capable of fly as far as 150km and return to its primary position.

The 2nd Azerbaijan International Defense Exhibition ADEX 2016 opened at the Baku Expo Center on Sept. 27.

The Azerbaijani Ministry of Defense Industry is demonstrating over 260 kinds of defense products and special-purpose weapons and ammunition at the exhibition.

216 companies from 34 countries, as well as 25 official delegations from 19 countries joined the exhibition. Representatives of 44 countries are attending the exhibition. Sophisticated weapons and vehicles are demonstrated in pavilions. ADEX 2016 "exhibition will determine new areas of cooperation among the participants.

The exhibition will end on Sept. 30.
