Azerbaijan prefers traditions of tolerance, multiculturalism
Azerbaijan has always given preference to the traditions of tolerance and multiculturalism, Associate Dean of the US-based Simon Wiesenthal Centre Rabbi Abraham Cooper said.
Cooper made remarks at the fifth Baku International Humanitarian Forum Sept. 29.

“Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has been implementing these traditions successfully,” he said.

“The world leaders can gather in Baku, discuss important and topical issues and contribute to the strengthening of the interreligious dialogue in the world,” Cooper said.

He expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani leadership for excellent organizing the forum and opportunities created to exchange the views on global issues.

The fifth Baku International Humanitarian Forum has kicked off on Sept. 29 in the Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku.
