Baku to host Forum of World Azerbaijani Businessmen
Baku will host the Forum of World Azerbaijani Businessmen on October 28.
The forum will be organized based on the recommendations from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s speech at the 4th Congress of World Azerbaijanis, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told on Sept. 29.

The forum will be dedicated to the discussion of possible factors encouraging Azerbaijani businessmen living abroad as well as foreign businessmen and major companies to invest in Azerbaijan’s economy, additional opportunities of the favorable investment atmosphere that has emerged as a result of successive actions taken by the state, and the role of Azerbaijani businessmen living abroad in contributing to the development of Azerbaijan’s economy, and also their role in protecting the country’s national interests, promoting Azerbaijani realities, and diaspora building.

More than 300 Azerbaijani businessmen and diaspora leaders living abroad as well as local entrepreneurs are expected to attend the forum. The businessmen will also discuss the initiative of creating a union of world Azerbaijani businessmen. Furthermore, the invitees are expected to have meetings with state and government officials.
