Pakistan summons Indian High Commissioner after cross-border fire
Pakistan’s Foreign Ministry summoned on Thursday Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bambawale following the cross-border exchange of fire between the Indian and Pakistani military in the disputed region of Kashmir, ministry’s spokesman Mohammed Nafees Zakaria said.
Earlier in the day, Lt. Gen. Ranbir Singh, India`s army director-general of military operations, said that India carried out strikes against suspected positions of terrorists in the disputed areas of Kashmir region under the Pakistani control.
