Azerbaijani hostage taken by Armenia turns 57
Today is the birthday of Dilgam Asgerov who was taken hostage by the Armenian soldiers on his way to Armenian-occupied Kalbajar region of Azerbaijan to visit their homeland. He turns 57.

`My brother wrote the letter in Russian, for the first time. The letter consists of only 3 sentences: `Hello, hello and say hello to everyone.` Today is his birthday. He celebrates his birthday in the enemy prison. He turned 54 and 55 in prison as well`, Sahib Musayev, the brother of Dilgam Asgerov told in his statement to AzVision.az.

Sahib called his brother to be stronger: ` 1167 days of dark and cumbersome hostage life! We do not even have 2 Armenian hostages to exchange him. Enemy`s prison could not break you till now. Bear a little! Almighty God.
Oh, my Mighty mountains,
My Sweetwater springs…
Your hero is in danger
Skies are crying for his grieves`.

Note that, in July of 2014, Russian citizen Dilgam Asgarov and Azerbaijani citizen Shahbaz Guliyev were taken hostage and another Azerbaijani citizen Hasan Hasanov was shot to death by the Armenian servicemen while trying to visit their homeland in Kalbajar. Hasan Hasanov’s body was taken from the enemy and buried in Baku. On December 19, 2014, the “court” of the separatist regime in occupied Nagorno-Karabakh sentenced Dilgam Asgarov to life in prison, Shahbaz Guliyev to 22 years in prison.
