New Zealand Hit by 4.7-Magnitude Earthquake – USGS
An earthquake measuring 4.7 on the Richter scale struck off the New Zealand coast on Sunday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
The quake occurred at 20:21 GMT on Sunday at a depth of 10 kilometers (about 6 miles), 200 kilometers (about 124 miles) north east of Gisborne, a city New Zealand, according to the USGS.

No information on casualties or damage from the quake has been provided yet.
