Explosion in China’s Northeast province kills 3, leaves several people injured

A total of 3 people were killed and several injured as a result of an explosion in a high-rise building in China’s Harbin city.

A total of 3 people were killed and several injured as a result of an explosion in a high-rise building in China’s Harbin city, northeast Heilongjiang province, local media reported on Tuesday.

According to the Xinhua news agency, the explosion occurred at about 4:40 a.m. local time [20:40 GMT], breaking windows and damaging three floors of the building. The blast was allegedly caused by a gas leakage, further investigation is carried out.
