Next Iran-P5+1 meeting to be held in Geneva on January 18
Before the plenary meeting, the Iranian side planned to have bilateral meetings both with the Russian and the U.S. negotiating teams
It has been decided to organize a next meeting between Iran and the P5+1 group of international mediators /the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany/ in Geneva on January 18, not on January 15, an Iranian diplomatic source told TASS over the phone on Tuesday.

“Such schedule will be suitable for all parties,” the source said. “That is why it was decided to hold a meeting in Geneva on January 18.”

According to the source, before the plenary meeting, the Iranian side planned to have bilateral meetings both with the Russian and the U.S. negotiating teams.

Traditionally, the Russian side will be represented by Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov.

The source did not rule out bilateral meetings would be held in the evening of January 17. “It is being agreed now whether it would be acceptable for all parties,” the source added.
