Speaking about actions of the alliance in Afghanistan, Stoltenberg also emphasized that NATO considers that it is more important to assist Kabul in independent providing of country`s security than participate in operations.
At the moment “Resolute Support” noncombat mission of NATO numbering about 14,000 people is placed in Afghanistan, it is engaged in helping the Afghan army in planning of operations, logistics and ensuring its intelligence.
