The martyred Azerbaijani soldier was buried after a three-volley salute was performed.
Sahil Mammadov was killed on October 5 evening as Armenian armed forces shelled the Azerbaijani army positions, said Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry on Oct. 6.
Defense Ministry`s leadership expressed its deep condolences to the family and relatives of the martyr and wished them patience.
Armenia again started to carry out provocative actions to escalate the situation on the frontline, stressed Azerbaijan’s Defense Ministry.
The Azerbaijani side reiterates, Armenia’s military and political leadership bears full responsibility of the next bloody provocations on the contact line between the two countries’ troops, the ministry added.
