Putin dismisses more than 10 generals from Interior Ministry
Russian president Vladimir Putin has dismissed more than 10 generals from the Interior Ministry, TASS reports.
Head of licensing and permitting work (ULRR) department of public order of the Interior Ministry Major General Leonid Vedenov, head of Department of Civil Protection, Police Lieutenant-General Sergey Lebedev, his deputy Major General Alexander Grishchenko, head of the Center for Special Purpose Private Security, Police Major General Alexander Zhilkin, head of the Center for Specialty Rapid Reaction Force, Police Major General Dmitry Deynichenko, head of the transport of the Interior Ministry on Far Eastern Federal District, Police Major General Sergey Serikov Head of the Center for Special Rapid Reaction Force and Aviation of Ministry of Internal Affairs, Police Major General Vyacheslav Khaustov were sacked.

National Guard service will replace Interior Ministry forces headed by these persons, except Serikov.
